Sit back, relax, and enjoy the lifestyle of a great neighborhood at a very reasonable price. Noted as one of Jupiter’s most affordable Single Family Home communities, the Heights of Jupiter is in a class of its own. Tired of the HOA fees? If so, having no HOA fees is just the beginning of the perks to this amazing neighborhood. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2-car garage single family home is charming from its curbside appeal to its open floor plan. Built in 1999 by the renowned Mark Miller & Company, this home has all the perks. This home is CBS constructed, and has been built to the required hurricane codes.
The kitchen was recently renovated to provide maximum space for the preparation of food and the accompaniment of kitchen guests. The customized renovations include large diagonally laid tile flooring, tall espresso stained wood cabinetry, granite counter tops, a deep and oversized under mount stainless sink, a decorative glass tile backsplash, high-end GE Profile stainless appliances, stainless plumbing features, elegant light fixtures, and a long granite breakfast bar.
Need a little fresh air without the Florida heat? If so, step outside to the extra large screened lanai at the rear of the home. You can access this screened lanai from the main living area or from the master bedroom. The lanai provides a view of the entire backyard, which is surrounded by six-foot privacy fencing. Just steps from this home, there are tons of local amenities to choose from. Enjoy the park inside the community, as well as multiple public parks and recreational facilities that are scattered throughout the area. Take a short walk to the tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts, skateboard park, baseball park, restaurants, boutique shopping, and many other luxuries and amenities. Less than a mile away, you can take on a game of golf at Abacoa’s public course. This home and community has it all. Amazing Schools and Amazing Neighbors will keep you always wondering why other people live where they do! On top of all these great bonuses, this community is one of the very few that does not have the extra monthly or quarterly fee from an HOA. The home and location will sell itself.
Fall is in the air! I know, it’s still 80+ degrees outside here in Jupiter, Florida, but that’s OK. Us Floridians know Fall is really just a mind set until late October. HI friends! I’m really happy about bringing you today’s interview. Allison is a Tequesta local that does some really awesome things!! I’ve seen her posts on Facebook for awhile now and finally reached out to her to learn a little more about her & her business. She’s so nice and happily agreed. So, here you go!
1. Tell us a little about yourself. Hi! My name is Allison Albert. Originally I am from Williamsport, Pennsylvania but I spent most of my adult years in Denver, CO. My family moved here to Jupiter (my hubby’s hometown) three years ago. My husband Acey and I have a daughter Julia, currently a dance major at Dreyfoos School of the Arts. We also have Tini and Kona small mixed breed pups.
2. When did you start the DOMESTIC ARTISANS brand and what are the services you offer? I began Domestic Artisans soon after we relocated to Jupiter. I was eager to begin a new endeavor, which encompassed all of my passions and hobbies. Cooking, Baking, Childcare, Home Management, and Gardening. Domestic Artisans, LLC is the umbrella under which many things are created. And most recently much of my attention has been on Brooke Linn’s Bees.
3. How did Brooke Linns Bees get started? Brooke Linn’s Bees is now a big part of Domestic Artisans and was born out of my little garden here at home. I have been growing loofah (Yes! They grow on a vine and extremely well in South Florida). I was amazed at how many bees the loofah’s big yellow flowers attracted. So I said, I’m going to start a beehive right here in my backyard! Now I have seven hives in four locations around Jupiter and Tequesta and we’re always looking for host families. We are treatment free apiary and we sell bees wax and unfiltered honey.
4. Who makes up the DOMESTIC ARTISANS crew? Domestic Artisans and Brooke Linn’s Bees is run by myself with help from my husband, Dr. Acey Albert M.D. (Internist and Pediatrician) and Julia when she’s not dancing!
5. What do you find most challenging about running your own business?
The most challenging part of owning this business is keeping up with demands of the customers while remaining focused on the slower processes, somewhat old fashion and home grown processes that I base this business on and enjoy most.
6. What is the most rewarding thing about running your company?
I enjoy making things that people love and running into someone at Publix who refers to me as “the bee lady”! That is so fun and most rewarding for me.
7. What do you do on your days off?
When I’m not working I’m paddling boarding, traveling or volunteering at my daughter’s school.
8. How do you juggle work & family?
Luckily my work is everything that I love and I’m lucky my family also loves what I do.
9. Who is your favorite Superhero and why?
My super hero is my Mom. She’s about as super as they come. She raised five successful and happy kids, taught us all to cook and garden and really is the inspiration for starting Domestic Artisans. I’m trying to get her down to Jupiter to work with me.
11. Is there anything else you would like is to know? I am super excited to announce that I have merged with Tequesta Coffee Lounge! We have so many exciting things coming to the neighborhood! Please follow our page to hear about new offerings as well as upcoming events! I can’t wait to see you all there beginning October 8th, 2015!

It’s Wednesday friends! We’re halfway to the weekend. Yay!! It’s been a hectic week already for me. The kiddos headed back to school and our summer life is officially over (sad face). However, with every new school year comes the reminder that Fall is right around the corner. Fall is my favorite Season! Pumpkins, sweaters (sorta, it is So. Fl. after all), and selling & listing houses in my favorite town! So chin up buttercups, it’s Wednesday!
Did you check out my New Listing post from yesterday? It’s a great little house, right here in Jupiter, Florida. Contact me if you’d like more info on this home or any others in the Northern Palm Beach County area. – Nicole

Happy Friday, friends! It’s the last weekend of summer before our Palm Beach County students head back to class. I have mixed feelings about the school year starting. The pros, the kids stay busy, life has a defined schedule and of course that new school supply smell. The cons, the kids stay busy, life has a defined schedule and of course the lines at office supply stores! Haha! So I put together a list to help you squeeze the last bit of fun out of the summer. Enjoy!
Growing up in Jupiter we always had the Jupiter Movie Theater as a place to go. It was where we first learned to have our Moms drop us off at the far side of the plaza, so we wouldn’t be seen getting out of her car. Mortifying!! Looking back though, of course our Moms were driving us, we were in middle school. Who did we think we were fooling?? Haha!
But I digress. Having a movie theater was totally awesome. However, over the years it slowly went downhill. Showing it’s age and never being updated. Your feet would definitely stick to the floor, every time. The chairs were gross and over all, it just wasn’t a fun theater to go to. Once the theater at Downtown at The Gardens was built, I never went back to the Jupiter Theater.
That has forever been changed! Guys!! We have a Cinépolis Theater, right here in Jupiter now, and It. Is. AWESOME.
My husband and I went this past weekend to see Mission Impossible. The theater was really beautiful inside! I felt like we were walking into a really nice hotel lobby.
Now, arriving early to the movie doesn’t mean you have to wait in an almost empty theater. Pull up a stool at the bar & enjoy a frosty beverage. They even have my favorite, local beer on tap. The Chancellor by TBC! Don’t have time to finish your beer before the show starts? No worries, just bring it in with you!
Cinépolis Jupiter offers two different ways to see a movie.
From their website: “The theater’s “Cinépolis Luxury Cinema” auditoriums offer guests a luxury movie-going experience with fully reclining leather seats and in-theater waiter service and dining with full bar, available at the touch of a button. Guests of the theater’s “Cinépolis” auditoriums can enjoy a premium theater experience with comfortable seating and access to the gourmet menu and full bar in the lobby area.”
We opted for the Luxury Cinema and loved it! Large comfortable chairs that allow you to put your feet up, seat side service and a full menu were features that made our visit very enjoyable.
We enjoyed the chicken fingers & the Chocolate & Carmel Popcorn. They were both very tasty!
We give this theater Two Thumbs Up! Have you been? Did you like it? Tell me what your favorite thing about it is. If you haven’t been, go now!!
