Today, June 19, 2017 the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue Explorers
will be having a bake sale to support paramedics who died in Jupiter. Help them raise money and receive some tasty, homemade goods in return.
Lahiri Garcia, 51, and Paul Besaw, 36, medical technicians for American Medical Response, died in the crash, which took place at about 3 a.m. outside Colonial Plaza, in Jupiter. The first responder community came together in support of their families for the memorial service.
Now, the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Explorers want to do more.
I finally made it over to the Gardens Mall last night to see the Dr. Seuss Art Exhibit. It did not disappoint! My favorite story of the good doctor’s has always been Green Eggs & Ham. That was the first book I ever learned to read on my own and my Mom still has that copy of the book. Even my daughter got to enjoy it growing up. This exhibit had several pieces from Green Eggs & Ham, as well as many of the well know titles. The Grinch, Horton Hears a Who, Cat In The Hat, etc. However, the ones that really caught my eye were the pieces that looked like fine art, but with a “Seussical” feel to them. The details are amazing, some even have handwritten notes jotted on them by the artist. I highly recommend you all go and see the exhibit. You can’t help but smile. It will be at the Mall until February 14, 2016. Here are some fun images I snapped while there. Enjoy!
