Are you considering a move? There are lots of wonderful places to choose from in our area.
Should you move to Tequesta Florida?
Off the top of my head, I’m going to say YES! However, if you need a little more persuasion than just me, here are some wonderful things about The Village of Tequesta.
Tequesta, Florida is the most northern town of Palm Beach County. Some parts of Tequesta spill over into Martin County. It’s actually a Village, due to it’s population size of approximately 5,600 people.
There are three types of homes in Tequesta, condos, townhomes and single family homes. There are are large number of homes without an HOA.
Throughout Tequesta there is a variety of community types: Waterfront, Golf Course Views, Wildlife Reserve Views, Cul-de-Sac, Country Club, Gated, Non-Gated and so many more!

The Village offers many sponsored events throughout the year, that are free to it’s residents. There is a sense of community here that only comes from small town living. The quiet, palm lined streets, unique small businesses, and friendly neighbors give Tequesta, Florida a real beach town vibe.
Grab a coffee at one of the two fantastic coffee houses, located in Tequesta. Oceana Coffee and Perk Coffee House. As well as serving local roasted coffee, both companies offer endless community events and a great way to meet your neighbors!
A great way to see Tequesta is from the waterways. Make your way up the scenic Intracoastal or see the iconic Loxahatchee River. You can rent paddleboards or a boat from Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina. Many homes throughout Tequesta are located on the water and have easy access for many types & sizes of boating and water crafts.
Families love Tequesta Florida, for all of the above things, as well as some very cool amenities available to Village residents.
One of the big favorites for the younger kiddo crowd is Constitution Park. There are 2 playgrounds (separated by age groups), a rock climbing wall, tree house, walking trail, basketball courts, bicycle parking and so much more. Check out the other parks and facilities located in Tequesta Florida, including a skate park and putting green, here.
Homes in Tequesta on the Palm Beach County side are zoned for Jupiter Schools:

What Tequesta Florida Residents Are Saying
-Milka Gordillo owner of Dreamallows: So many things that I ❤️ about our tiny village… I love our Tequesta Park & the events they are constantly creating for residents. It is quiet, small & you easily run into your doctor at the supermarket. It is away from Jupiter yet you can still smell the beach! ❤️
-Jonathan Albert: I love the small town feel. Tequesta is a big as It is ever going to get, and it seems like everyone knows each other and looks out for one another. This was really apparent the day before Hurricane Irma. All day, neighbors were helping each other put up shutters, find gas and load up on ice. That evening, it felt like the whole village was at TBC, blowing off steam. It just felt like a great community.
-Anna Bordner, Blogger at AnnaBordner.com: What I love about living in Tequesta, is that I have this bubble of friends, family, and my favorite places all in one area – our gym, our church, the beach, breweries, good food and good coffee is all close by! I grew up boating, so having easy access to the water is key for our family and is where you’ll find us most weekends!
