Jupiter Florida News

There is so much going on in our beautiful community right now.

Here is this week’s Jupiter Florida News Brief to help you keep up.

One of the most amazing places in Jupiter Florida is expanding!

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center opened in 2007. Since then they have saved countless endangered seaturtles and helped educate the public on the importance of our local marine life. They are now setting their sites on an expansion that will include expanding their sea turtle hospital and sea turtle hospital tanks, expanding their research laboratory, providing new classroom space, providing presentation spaces for guest lecturers and visiting scientists and expanding their exhibit spaces! Visit their site to see more details on the project and find out how you can help them reach their goal: https://www.marinelife.org/about/expansion/

Tuesday, March 14th is Election Day in Jupiter Florida!

Get to know the candidates running for Town Council here. Teri Grooms has got my vote!

Date Night In Northern Palm Beach County

Living in South Florida has a lot of perks. One perk is being able to get out & about, all year long. So, let’s talk about what to do in Northern Palm Beach County when you’re in the mood for a date night. My husband and I like to get out and enjoy as much as we can. Here are a few of our favorite, local spots.

It’s all about the romance when you stroll Jupiter, Florida’s approx 3.4 miles of gorgeous beaches. I recommend hitting up the Juno Beach Pier and any one of the beautiful beach access points along Beach Road. You can even bring Fido, if you stroll on the Dog Beach!

Work up a thirst with all that beach strolling? No worries, you’ve got LOTS of options! One of our favorite spots to grab a beer and sit by the water is The Square Grouper. You can see the lighthouse and the inlet. You can’t beat that view! Across the street on the intracoastal side is Guanabanas. A tropical landscaped restaurant and watering hole. Sit back under the large banyan trees and watch the paddle boarders go by!

New to the area is Harbourside Place. Located on Jupiter’s Riverwalk, Harbourside offers a variety of restaurants, shops, a farmer’s market and plenty of live music and events. No matter what the day, there’s plenty to do! Be sure to check out Tiger Woods’ new place The Woods (try the cotton candy, it’s on the dessert menu), and Calaveras Cantina, who offer the coldest beers I’ve ever had!

Maybe the outdoors isn’t your thing every night. Then give the new Cinépolis Jupiter | Movie Theaters a try. They have comfy seats that you can snuggle with your honey, seat side service and a full menu! It’s a fabulous way to see that new blockbuster you’ve been looking forward to!

If a beautiful hotel room is more your speed, Jupiter has two, gorgeous choices. Relax beach side at the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa. With a secluded beach and full service spa, Jupiter Beach Resort is the perfect place to unwind in paradise!

Just down the street, enjoy “laid-back luxury and modern elegance” on the bank of Jupiter’s Intracoastal Waterway, at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place.

The perfect event for a great date night is coming up! Saturday October 10th, an exciting evening of food, wine and entertainment is Abacoa’s premier event of the Season: Abacoa Wines Around The World. You do need tickets for this event, so don’t miss out!

All these ideas are nice, but maybe just maybe, staying on the couch sounds perfect for you. That’s cool, pick out your favorite flick and call up the Chow Cab! Lucky us, Jupiter now has an awesome delivery service that hits up all the great restaurants we have around here! I suggest, Love Actually and food from Leftover’s Cafe!

Jupiter, Florida has so many more options that I didn’t mention. What are your favorite North Palm Beach County date night spots? No matter where you end up, enjoy your weekend, friends! ❤️ Nicole
